Ministries

Brother to Brother is an outreach ministry that provides clear and Christian alternatives to drugs, alcohol and crime. We emphasize Christian values in marriage and single living while helping to change lives through the Word of God, so that people can become productive members of God’s kingdom and society. We go into the prisons, open shelters and  the streets of America sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ. We meet every Saturday but the 3rd Saturday at 3 pm in the church sanctuary.  We also minister to those who struggle in the areas of drug addiction, alcoholism, pornography, homosexaulity ,crime, hopelessness, abuse and  suicide.  Private counseling available by appointment. PDHC exists today because of the dream of a few couples in 1978. Since then, so many others have made this dream their own. These founding couples had helped pregnant women in their own home, but knew more had to be done. With $500 and 10 volunteers, their vision to reach out with loving and practical alternatives to abortion was realized with the opening of the first client office and 24-hour Hotline in January, 1981. The first year God blessed their efforts with 3,109 client visits and calls. PDHC has provided ultrasounds for clients since 1995. Ultrasound is now available at medical clinic facilities at two of the offices. The powerful truth of the ultrasound picture, the “window to the womb,” has resulted in many abortion-vulnerable clients choosing life for their babies.  Since PDHC’s inception, at least 3000 abortion-vulnerable women have chosen life for their children.  At least another 3000 women who were struggling with an abortion decision decided to consider other options after visiting PDHC. Additionally, hundreds of women have been emotionally restored from a previous abortion decision through PDHC’s H.E.A.R.T. (Healing the Effects of Abortion Related Trauma) workshops. PDHC was one of the first organizations in central Ohio to establish an abstinence education program in the public schools. Today, the Healthy Choices Abstinence Education Program reaches more than 10,000 middle and high school students in central Ohio.
